One year ago -exactly- I was just back from Madrid, Spain. I spent there about 5 days on a business assignment. It was great! It was like being back to Chile in a way. The architecture and streets, the people and food were the same. Fun trip. Great experience.
Well, that was last year. After that, someone in the office had spread the word about my photography, so they decided that it would be a great idea to renew all marketing materials and that I would be the best to send and do all the photos. Great! I had the cnahce to be in Panama, Orlando, Detroit, Houston, San Angelo and Ontario in a four-month period. And, for just a bit, I missed Cancun and Vancouver. Well, but not for very long. My supervisor came today and asked: Hey, we have an A380 (this is a huge new type of aircraft) landing tomorrow in Vancouver. Do you think you can flight tomorrow? We want you to do the photos. Cough, cough, cough.... think fast Paulina: board the dog, get house settled for the next 3 days, let Paulo know and coordinate whatever needs to be coordinated, see if I can rent the lens I love the most for aiport shots, no meetings in the horizon, no dates, and no pendings. - Yes, I can :) ...I did not know for sure but go to Vancouver to have so much fun shooting the biggest airplane in the world and getting paid for it...how could I refuse that?
I am leaving tomorrow morning comimng back in 2 days. I already know that is going to be looong hours as usual and since the moment I arrive. But I love it! Am I going to have access to internet to send you photos and tell you how it is going. Yes!. Am I going to do it: Heck no! I won't have time. We will catch up once I am back.
I have illustrated this note with a photo I got in Houston. Just in case you wonder....Yes, I pushed the envelope to get this shot. I am grateful that my escort was nice and let me cross the actual yellow line on the apron. Ooops! Great shot anyways.
I posted another two aiport shots I did for myself.

I love your photos! It is so fun to see your work and hear about your adventures!
Wow this sounds like a great opportunity. Your job sounds exciting. It is so fun to read your posts and keep updated. I am so glad you have found an outlet with your service. That has been something I have also gained a lot from in the past few years. I think when we act in this way it draws us closer to Jesus Christ and we find peace in our lives.
